Terms of Service

What We Do

Any-Call.app is a privacy-aware1 browser-based VoIP service that lets you quickly make secure phone calls without downloading an app, powered by Twilio and Stripe.

2

Who Can Use It

Must be 18+ or have parental consent, and keep it legit, no illegal stuff.

3

Payments via Stripe

  • You agree to Stripe's Services Agreement.
  • Stripe processes payments securely (fees like 2.9% to 3.25% + 0.30$, see their site).
  • You provide your card details directly to Stripe; we don't touch it.
  • Disputes? You and Stripe sort it out.
4

Calls via Twilio

  • You agree to Twilio's Terms of Service.
  • Twilio handles your browser calls. Usage-based rates apply (check their pricing).
  • Keep calls legal (no spam or harassment—see Twilio's rules).
5

Your Job

  • Enjoy the App: make calls, have fun!
  • Give Stripe accurate payment info when you pay.
  • Don't break laws or Stripe/Twilio rules (no spam, scams, etc.).
6

Our Job

  • Keep calls and payments running smoothly.
  • No hidden fees, just Stripe and Twilio charges.
  • Protect your privacy by keeping minimal data (no emails or call logs on our end).
  • Give you a heads-up if we add our own subscription fee later.
7

Fees

  • Stripe charges 3.25% + CHF 0.30 per transaction, with a minimum of CHF 0.50 (see their pricing).
  • Twilio bills per call based on usage (check their rates).
  • We round up and add a small fee—up to 20%—to cover costs and taxes, ensuring every charge is at least CHF 0.50.
  • Due to current currency fluctuations, the minimum charge is of $1 (yes, it seems trade-wars can also affect an app such as this one). We might revise this downwards in the future.
8

Termination

Stop using it to quit. We can end it if you break the rules.

9

Liability

App's "as is". We do our best but we're not liable for glitches or losses.

10

Legal

We're based in Switzerland, so Swiss law applies unless Stripe or Twilio's US terms kick in. Got issues? Let's chat before hitting the courts.

11

Privacy

We're all about keeping your data light. Here's the deal:

  • What We Collect: Almost nothing from you directly. No emails, no call logs, no personal details stored by us. We grab your IP address briefly to make the app work and track basic usage via GoatCounter (anonymized stats).
  • Purpose: IP is used to connect your calls and payments. Usage stats help us improve the app without knowing who you are.
  • Who Gets It: Stripe gets your payment info (e.g., email, card details) directly from you for billing, see their Privacy Policy. Twilio gets call details (e.g., numbers, duration) to process VoIP, see their Privacy Policy. GoatCounter gets anonymized usage data. We don't share anything ourselves.
  • Security: We use HTTPS to encrypt your connection. Since we store almost nothing, there's little to protect, but what we handle (like IPs) is kept secure and dumped fast.

Footnotes

  1. Obviously we're using external services that will keep records: however, we do our best on our end to keep as little data as possible. We don't keep e-mails and usage logs beyond what is required for computing call costs and issuing charges.
